Meet Our Doctor Dr. David J Crippen Dr. David J Crippen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. As a Board Certified specialist Dr. Crippen is highly qualified to provide the very best in oral healthcare for infants, children, adolescents and those with special healthcare needs. Dr Crippen is a recognized primary oral healthcare provider and a resource for specialty referral. Dr Crippen was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and attended the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Upon completion of his undergraduate education, he relocated to San Francisco to attend dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. After graduating with honors from dental school, Dr. Crippen went on to obtain his certificate of specialty in pediatric dentistry by completing a two year pediatric dental residency at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his time in Wisconsin, Dr Crippen served as Chief pediatric dental resident for his hospital. Following completion of his residency, Dr. Crippen moved back to California and settled in Sacramento where he resides with his wife and former dental school classmate, Dr. Gina Crippen. He is currently on staff at multiple area hospitals and in an adjunct clinical instructor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Crippen's areas of interest in Dentistry lie in preventative care, sedation, and hospital dentistry. Dr. Crippen is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Beyond dentistry Dr. Crippen enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family. |
